Pack 594On July 25-27, the Pack camped at Fort Mountain state park near Ellijay, GA.

We had a blast hiking and swimming on Saturday. There was a little rain, but we are used to that on our campouts!

Make plans to join us on our next campout. Look for information at Back to the Pack or Roundup!

Pack 594Join us for our June Campout, June 27-29th. We will spend Saturday at the Warner Robbins Aviation museum.

You can get a preview of the Warner Robbins Museum at http://www.museumofaviation.org/

(This is a very cool website!)

Visitors to Warner Robins will discover the "Crown Jewel" of Middle Georgia -- the Museum of Aviation, now the second largest museum in the United States Air Force. Displaying 93 aircraft and hundreds of exhibits on a beautiful 51 acre site, the museum has grown into a significant exhibit, education and cultural center drawing more than 500,000 visitors a year.

We will camp at a Boys Scout Camp named: Camp Benjamin Hawkins on Friday and Saturday night.

Costs:

* Camping $2 / night / person
* Museum: free (your tax dollars pay for this).

Pack 594Join us for our penultimate (I just love that word) meeting of the year on May 12th. We will be meeting at the Fence Road entrance to Little Mulberry Park, in the parking lot, to clean up trash at the park.

The park website can be reached from this link.

This counts as a conservation project for many ranks and anyone working on the world conservation award.

Be sure to wear your activity shirt so your uniform won't get dirty.
